BRADLEY (Elma). Peacefully at home with family by her side on 14th December 2023, Elma, aged 91, of Alsager, and formerly of Congleton. The devoted wife of the late Alan Christopher; much-loved mum of Dinah and the late Penny; dear mother-in-law of Gwilym and Phil, and a treasured gran, beloved sister, aunt and great-aunt. Elma will be missed by all her family and friends. The funeral service and burial is to take place at Christ Church, Alsager, on Wednesday, 10th January at 12.30pm. Will all friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only; but if desired, a donation may be made to Alzheimer’s Society or Cats Protection. HOWARD (Barrie Myers). Passed away peacefully on 6th December 2023 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Barrie, aged 88. A dearly loved husband, dad and granddad. The funeral service will be held at 1.15pm on Friday, 5th January at Macclesfield Crematorium. Family flowers only; donations, if desired, to The Christie NHS Foundation Trust or Save the Children. The devoted wife of the late Norman; loving mum of Melvin, Karen, Valerie, Kevin, Andy, Nigel, Darren, Mark and Nicky, and a treasured nan to many. Lily will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Flowers welcome; donations, if preferred (charity is yet to be decided). KAY (Robert). Sadly passed away on Saturday, 9th December 2023, after a long illness, bravely borne, Bob, aged 90, formerly of Sandbach and Old Butt Lane. The dearly loved husband of Sheila; much loved step-dad of Christopher and John, and a very dear step-father-in-law and a dear uncle. The funeral service and cremation is to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday, 4th January at 12.40pm. Would relatives and friends please meet at the crematorium. MOUNTFORD (Eunice). Passed away peacefully after a short illness at her home in Knypersley on 17th December 2023, Eunice, aged 77. The devoted wife of Jim, and a much-loved and cherished mum, mum-in-law, nan and great-nan. Eunice will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Biddulph Moor Methodist Church, New Road, on Tuesday, 9th January at 1pm, followed by burial at Biddulph Moor Churchyard. WEAVER (Darrel). At rest on 8th December 2023, Darrel Goodwin Weaver, aged 86, of Leek, retired managing director of Blakemore and Chell Ltd. The dearly loved husband of Jennifer; much-loved dad of Ashley and Tracy, and granddad of Louise, Andrew, Emma and Jessica. The funeral is on Wednesday, 10th January, with a service and cremation at Carmountside Crematorium at 11.15am. Will friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium. WEBB (Peter). Passed away peacefully on 14th December 2023 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Peter, aged 89, of Biddulph Moor. The devoted husband of the late Brenda; cherished dad of Yvonne; father-in-law of Neil; grandfather to Stacey and James, and a great-grandfather of George and Polly. Peter will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Thursday, 4th January at 10am.
