BROWN (Marguerite Paula, née Brookes). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 18th July 2021, Marguerite, aged 72, of Haslington, and formerly of Wheelock. A much-loved mum to Steven and Kevin and loving gran. The funeral service is to be held at St Matthew’s Church, Haslington, on Tuesday, 10th August at 10am, followed by interment in the churchyard. HUMPHREYS. Peacefully on 16th July 2021, at Greengables Nursing Home, Congleton, Pamela Jean, aged 88, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Gordon Humphreys; loving mum of Peter, Sian and Gareth; dear mother-in-law of Carol, Paul and Claire, and a cherished grandma of Danielle and her partner Joe, Ellie, Nia and Orla and great-grandma of Joey. HURLEY (Denis). Dr Denis Hurley, of Knypersley, aged 92, passed away peacefully on 1st July 2021, at home. The funeral service and cremation took place on Monday, 19th July at Bradwell Crematorium, conducted by Fr Julian Green. Denis was a dear husband, dad, father-in-law and granddad who will be truly missed. The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences. LEASON (Margaret Rose, “Maggie”). Peacefully passed away at home on 19th July 2021, with her loving husband by her side, Maggie, aged 80, of Biddulph. The dearly loved wife of John; much-loved mother of Rachael; mother-in-law of Stewart; loving granny of Emmy and Rudy, and special sister of Christine, sister-in-law of Neil, Philip, and Edith, and a special friend to many. Maggie will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her family and friends. The funeral service is at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Tuesday, 10th August at 10.30am, followed by committal at Woodhouse Burial Ground, Biddulph. MOSS (Yvonne Ann). Peacefully on Monday, 19th July 2021 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Yvonne, aged 83, of Biddulph. The devoted and loving wife of Brian; treasured mum of Yvonne and Dean; cherished nan of Emily, Alexander and the late Gemma; a much-loved sister and a dearest friend to so many. Yvonne will be sadly missed by all her loving family and many friends. The funeral service and cremation will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday, 6th August at 1pm.
