BESTWICK (Sean). At rest at his home address on 12th May 2025, Sean, aged 55 years, of Harriseahead, and formerly of Biddulph. The devoted husband of Lindsay; dearly loved son of Neil and Kath; much-loved dad of Liam and Ethan, and step-dad of James and Jack. Sean will be missed but fondly remembered by his very loving family and many friends. A funeral service is to be held to celebrate the life of Sean at Biddulph Methodist Church on Tuesday, 10th June at 11am followed by interment at Woodhouse Burial Ground. FROST (Maureen). Peacefully on 13th May 2025, at Clayton Manor Nursing Home, Maureen, aged 90 years, of Congleton. The dearly loved wife of the late Hadge Frost and a much-loved aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt. The cortege is to leave her home on Tuesday, 3rd June at 10.45am for a service and interment at St Peter’s Church, Congleton, at 11am. HULME (Michael, “Tricky”). Peacefully at rest on 8th May 2025, while in the loving care of his family, Michael Trevor of Biddulph, aged 61 years. A devoted dad to Emily; loving and much-loved grandad to Layla and Oscar; a dear brother to Steve, Lynn, Malcolm, Elaine, Colin and Sheryl, and a dearest uncle and friend who will be truly missed. The funeral service and burial is to take place at Woodhouse Cemetery on Tuesday, 10th June at 2pm. Would all relatives and friends please meet at the cemetery. JONES (Graham). Passed away peacefully at Macclesfield District General Hospital on Tuesday, 20th May, aged 89 years, of Congleton and formerly of Middlewich, better known as the proprietor of G and M Jones / Thoroughgoods in Congleton from 1987 until his daughter sold it in 2023. He was the dearly loved husband of the late Margaret; loving and caring dad to Claire, and dear father-in-law to Richard. The service and cremation are to take place at the Birches Crematorium on Friday, 6th June at 1pm.
