BOURNE (Tim). Peacefully on 27th January 2021, at Salford Royal Hospital, Timothy, aged 60 years, of Congleton. The dear brother of Mark, uncle to Adam and Ryan, and a friend to many. BROOKES (Colin). Entered eternal rest on Wednesday, 20th January 2021, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Colin, aged 78, of Biddulph. The loving and devoted husband of Rose; cherished dad of Darren, Mark and Sara; dearest father-in-law to Joanne and Chris; treasured brother-in-law to Kath and the late Gerald; a very dear friend to Carol and John, and a good neighbour to many. BROWN (Doreen, nee Henshall). Peacefully on 21st January 2021, after a short illness, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, in the presence of her devoted daughter Joanne, Doreen, aged 93 years, of Congleton. The beloved wife of the late Graham; dearly loved and loving mum of Robert and Joanne; mum-in-law of Dave; cherished ma to Holly and grandma to Gavin, and dear friend to Eileen and Alan. FAGAN (Joan Marjorie), of Cambridge, formerly of Congleton, passed suddenly away at her home on Wednesday, 6th January 2021, aged 83 years. She was the much-loved mum of Kelvin, Carole, Stephen, Alison and Michael; dear grandmother, great grandmother, and sister to the late Muriel, Frank, Violet and George. POWNALL (John Anthony, “Tony”). Aged 70 years, sadly passed away peacefully at home on January 25th, following a long illness fought with great courage and dignity. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Carole; a much-loved dad and granddad, and a good friend to many who will be sadly missed by his family and friends. During his last few months, he received excellent care from the staff at East Cheshire Hospice @ Home, to which his family will be eternally grateful. Originally from Kidsgrove but in Congleton since 1962, and the devoted and much-loved wife of Arthur Alfred Savill; dear mum of Karen Evans, Dawn Savill and Toni Jacques; much-loved grandparent of Jamie, Gemma, Ben, Alain and Xander; great grandparent of Chloe, Josh, Kian, Lacy, Darcee, Eddie Phoebe, Arthur and Braxton, and great great grandparent to Alfie. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia; much-loved dad of Patrick and Thomas; loving granddad of Georgia and Kirsty; dearly loved brother of Barbara, Sheila, George, Steven, Robert and Clinton, and a very dear brother-in-law.
