BAILEY (Lynn). Peacefully at rest while at home in Biddulph Park. Lynn Margaret on 2nd January, 2021, aged 64. The dearly beloved wife of Joseph; devoted mum to Jodie and Paul and a dearest mum-in-law to Jordan and Emma; a loving and much loved nan, dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend who will be truly missed. The funeral service will be at Christ Church, Biddulph Moor, on Tuesday, 2nd February at 11am, followed by interment at Hilltop Methodist Church. Due to the present pandemic restrictions, attendance at the church will be limited. Please keep Lynn and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Flowers are acceptable. BAYLEY (Lilian May). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 16th January, 2021. Lilian, aged 83, of Holmes Chapel. The beloved wife of the late Cyril; loving sister to Anne and the late John, a dearly loved auntie and friend to all. Funeral service at Crewe Crematorium on Wednesday, 3rd February at 12.15pm. BOSTOCK (Michael Albert). Sadly, but peacefully, Michael passed away on Monday, 18th January, 2021, on his 85th birthday. He was the loving and dearly loved husband of Pam; proud, loving and much-loved dad of Diane and Caroline; a treasured and cherished granddad and great-granddad, loved and respected by Andrea and Susanne. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered, by all his loving family and friends. The funeral service and committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday, 9th February at noon. Due to the current restrictions, family only will be in attendance. BROCKLEHURST (Jacqueline). Peacefully on 11th January, 2021, at Royal Stoke University Hospital. Jacqueline, aged 76, of Biddulph. The dearly loved and devoted wife of Rod; loving mum of Paul and the late Brian, and a cherished grandma of Oliver and Luke. The funeral service will take place at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, prior to interment at Woodhouse Lane Burial Ground on a date to be arranged. CARTWRIGHT (Harry). Peacefully passed away suddenly on 2nd January, 2021, at Royal Stoke University Hospital. Harry was the much loved husband of Hilary; father of Peter and Paul; father-in-law of Pauline and Beata; granddad to Charlotte and Devon, and brother-in-law to Marge. HILDITCH (Barry). Passed away peacefully on 15th January, 2021. Barry, aged 69. Dearly loved by all his family and many friends. MCLEAN (Mary Adelaide). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 19th January, 2021. Mary, aged 88, of Sandbach, and formerly of Moreton. The beloved wife of the late Colin; much-loved mother to Edward and Derek; grandmother to Christine, Gavin, Stephen, Sharon, Thomas, Claire, Matthew and the late Rachel. ORME (Reverend Sydney). Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 20th January, 2021, in hospital, the Rev Sydney Orme, aged 93. The dearly loved husband to the late Jean; loving dad to Margaret and Stephen; father-in-law to Melvin and Alison; granddad to Beth and Charlie. Sydney was vicar at St John’s, Knypersley, from 1973 until he retired in 1992. He then moved to Elworth, where he continued with ministry by assisting at local churches including St Peter’s, Elworth, and St Leonard’s, Warmingham. The funeral service takes place on Tuesday, 9th February at St Peter’s Church, Elworth, at 12.45pm, followed by a private committal at Crewe Crematorium. POOLE (Helen Margaret). Peacefully passed away on 8th January, 2021, at Macclesfield District General Hospital. Helen, aged 93, of Congleton. She was the dearly loved and devoted wife of the late George Harold Poole. Helen will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her. REGAN (Rodney Clive). Rod passed away peacefully on Thursday, 21st January, 2021, at Macclesfield and District General Hospital, aged 84. The beloved husband of Marina, loving father of Jane, Gill, Julie, Debbie and Robert, and grandfather of David, Tom, Sarah and Molly. Rod will be fondly remembered and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral will be held privately at Birches Crematorium, Northwich on Thursday, 4th February. ROBERTS (Stanley “Stan”). Suddenly while at home on Sunday, 17th January, 2021. Stan, aged 95, of Gillow Heath. The devoted husband of the late Barbara; treasured dad of Carol and father-in-law to Paul, and cherished granddad of Robert and his partner Holly. Stan will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends but always remembered. A private funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday, 12th February at noon. SARA (Linda). Sadly died at the age of 66 on Monday, 11th January, 2021, at Salford Royal Hospital following a short illness. Linda passed away in the presence of her family, and her memory will be cherished for ever by her husband, Mervyn, her children, Danny, Bethan and Thomas, and her grandchildren Elina and Georgia along with her sisters Pauline, Judy and Susan and her many friends. The funeral will be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday, 5th February at 11.20am. Due to covid restrictions, attendance will be restricted to family members and close friends and is by invitation only. Donations, if so desired, can be made to Cancer Research UK. WHEELHOUSE (Margaret, “Peggy”). Peacefully passed away on 17th January, 2021, after a long illness borne with dignity and courage, Peggy, aged 90, of Biddulph. The beloved wife of Derek; devoted mum of Rosalind; treasured grandma of Sophie; very dear sister of David and the late Trevor and Peter, and a much loved cousin of Maria. Peggy will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. A private service is to take place on Thursday, 11th February at 2pm at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, followed by interment in the churchyard. WOOD (Gaye). 29th March 1953 – 19th January 2021. Sadly passed away on 19th January, 2021, at RSUH. Gaye, aged 67, formerly of Packmoor. The dearly loved wife of the late David, much-loved mum of Greg and Hayley, loving nana of Dylan, very dear sister of Sharon, loving auntie of Lee, special auntie to Lauren also a dear sister-in-law of Lynda and friend to many.
