ALEXANDER (Jill, nee Mendiuk). Suddenly on 28th December, 2020. Jill, aged 64. The much loved wife of the late Mark; very dear sister of Adele, and loving daughter of the late Jean and Steve. Funeral service at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Thursday, 28th January at 12.30pm, followed by interment in St Lawrence’s Cemetery. Flowers or if preferred, donations for Versus Arthritis. BALL (Donald, “Don”). Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, 12th January, 2021, at Leighton Hospital, aged 89, and of Mow Cop. BAYLEY (Mabel Margaret). Peacefully on Sunday, 10th January, 2021, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Mabel, aged 96, of Congleton. The dearly beloved wife of the late Stanley; devoted mum of Gary and Janet; loving nan of Johnathan, Andrew, Gareth, Nicholas and Alex; Big Nan to Samuel and Eleanor; dear mother-in-law to Patricia and the late Bill, and a good friend and neighbour to many. BLEASDALE (Ian Keith). Aged 88, passed away peacefully on 5th January, 2021, on the Isle of Man. Formerly of Church Bank, Goostrey and later Brereton. He leaves behind his wife Elizabeth, daughter Jane and grandson Anthony. Ian spent his working life in Cheshire as a local planning officer and considerable time with the Little Theatre, Knutsford. BOOTH (Dorothy Freda). Peacefully passed away at home on 6th January, 2021, Dorothy, aged 87, of Congleton. The dearly loved wife of the late Derek; much loved mum of Robert, Andrew and the late Helen; grandma of Max, Georgina, Thomas and Karim, and mum-in-law to Mark, Amanda and Karen.  Also missed by Lucy, Melissa and Isabella. CHADDOCK (Hilda Margaret). Please pray for the soul of Hilda, who passed away peacefully on Monday, 18th January, 2021, at home in Buglawton, aged 90. The beloved wife of the late Derrick; loving mother of Peter, Susan and Andrew; grandmother of Nicola, Gemma, Damien, Rebecca and Jordan, and great-grandmother to James, Harry and Maja. Hilda was loved by all and will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by everyone who knew her. CHADDOCK (Jean). Peacefully at rest at on 9th January, at Ernvale Care Centre, Leek, Jean, aged 88, of Biddulph. The dearly loved wife of the late Dennis; cherished and much loved mum of Michael, Christine, Susan, John and Jean; caring mother-in-law to Susan, Michael, Simon and Sam; much loved nana and great-nana, and a loved sister-in-law and auntie. Much loved by all her relations in Seaham. A good friend to many, Jean touched the hearts of so many people and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. CLARK (Claude). Former teacher of several primary schools, sadly passed away on 5th January, 2021, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Claude, aged 89, of Biddulph. The dearly loved husband of Margaret, and a dear brother-in-law and cousin. Claude was a highly respected member of the community and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. CLARKSON (Agnes). Peacefully passed away on 31st December, 2020, at Macclesfield District General Hospital. Agnes, aged 90, was born in Toronto and moved to Congleton as a child. She was the dearly loved wife of the late Kenneth Edward; much loved mum and mother-in-law of Sandra & Stuart Barnett and Sylvia & Steve Hancock; dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Ethel and Russ, Dorothy, Jack, George and Vicky, Elsie and the late Anne and Tom. Agnes was a grandma of Paul, Sharon, Vicky and Joanne and a great-grandma of Emma, Alastair, Ashley, Lewis, Wills, Cara, Archie, Jacque, Chloe and Max. Agnes will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her. A private service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium at 2.20pm on 2nd February.
