ALLWAY. Peacefully on 24th March 2023 at Henning Hall Nursing Home. Elizabeth Joy, aged 88. Dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Kenneth Allway. BARBOUR (Ian). Ian passed away suddenly but peacefully at Royal Stoke University hospital on 17th March 2023, aged 66. Beloved son to the late Brydon and the late Isa, cherished brother to Andrew, Brian, Joyce, Stuart, Gordon, the late Michael, Eric, the late John, Carol, Christine, Isobel and Billy. Also a treasured brother-in-law and uncle. Ian was a valued family member and friend who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. BARNETT (Peter Samuel). It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the death of a very special man. Peter passed away unexpectedly on Friday, 24th March 2023 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 90. The most cherished husband of Doris, loving father to (the late) Elaine, Jennifer and Mammad (son-in-law), Cathy and Malcolm (son-in-law) and Neil and Kerry (daughter-in-law), much-loved granddad of Emma, Cheryl, John, Gemma, Soraya, Natalie and Rarmeen, and adored great-granddad to many great-grandchildren. Peter will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening, his gentle nature, friendly smile, and unwavering strength of character. He will be most sadly missed by all the family and all who knew him. Funeral service at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 2pm on Wednesday, 12th April. BROOKES (Jean, nee Bailey). In loving memory of mum, Jean Brookes, of Nantwich, formerly of Biddulph and Gillow Heath.
