ARCHER (Vera). Passed away peacefully in the care of her family on Wednesday, 24th November 2021, Vera, aged 91. A devoted wife to the late Ron; much-loved mum to Maureen and Michael, and special gran and great-gran. Vera will be greatly missed by us all. The funeral service takes place at Crewe Crematorium on Thursday, 16th December at 10.45am. Family flowers only, by request; donations, if desired, to British Heart Foundation. BAGNALL (Jean Maxine). Peacefully at Bentley Manor Care Home on Friday, 3rd December, 2021, Jean, aged 78, of Sandbach. The dearly beloved wife of the late Eric Bagnall, and much-loved mother of Phillip and Steven. The funeral is on Monday, 20th December at Crewe Crematorium at 1.45pm. BREEZE (Valerie). Peacefully passed away on Friday morning, 26th November 2021, at home. The much-loved wife of Vic, for 56 years. She had endured and fought three separate cancers over the past seven years, but the most recent mesothelioma cancer was too aggressive to be fought. She was a loving family member and a wonderful, loyal friend to all who knew her, and they are left with lots of wonderful memories of her. The funeral service is at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday, 15th December, at 3.30pm. CHESTER (Jillian). Peacefully on 25th November, 2021, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Jillian, aged 85, of Biddulph. The dearly loved and devoted wife of the late John Chester; loving mum of Deborah and Phillip; dear mother-in-law of John and Hazel; cherished nana of Christopher, Lauren and Olivia; treasured great-nana of Paige, and a dear sister of Terry. HALL (Margaret, nee Brocklehurst). Passed away peacefully on 18th November, aged 83. The funeral service is at Holy Trinity Church, Rainow, Macclesfield, on Wednesday, 15th December at 11am followed by committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. LARMAN (Alan Clarke). Alan passed away quietly on Saturday, 27th November 2021, at Royal Liverpool University Hospital surrounded by his loving family, aged 82. The much-loved husband of Myrtle and loving father to Andrea and Dawn; respected father-in-law to Nathan; adored Pops of Oliver, Samuel, Benjamin and Lucian, and teacher to many. Alan will be lovingly remembered for his calm and unfazed manner, kind and helpful nature, and love of knowledge and science. He will be sadly missed by those who loved and knew him. The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 11am on Wednesday, 15th December. The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Alan’s memory. We also politely request that those attending do not wear formal funeral attire, but something smart-casual of their own choosing of any colour. We wish the funeral to be a celebration of Alan’s life rather than a ceremony of mourning. MCNULTY (Mary Teresa, “Moira”). On Thursday, 25th November 2021, peacefully in hospital, Moira, aged 82, of The Cedars Care Home, Holmes Chapel, and formerly of Sandy Lane, Goostrey. The dearly loved wife of Frank McNulty. Requiem mass on Thursday, 16th December at St Mary’s RC Church, Middlewich, at 1pm, prior to interment at Holmes Chapel Cemetery. MORRIS (Kathleen Mary). Peacefully on 14th November, 2021, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Kathleen Mary, aged 85, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted wife of James “Jim”; loving mum of Paul and the late Stephen; dear mother-in-law of Christine, and cherished and treasured grandmother of Alex, Daniel and Abbie, also Nial, Siobahn, Liam and Ciaron. PARKINS (Rayner Charles “Ez”). Peacefully passed away after a long illness borne with dignity and courage at Macclesfield District General Hospital, on 26th November 2021, with his loving family by his side, Ez, aged 90, of Congleton. The devoted husband of Ann; beloved dad of Julie; much-loved granddad of Rebecca and Joseph, and great-granddad of Ada and Millie; very dear brother of Peter, and a special brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Ez will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, friends and neighbours. A service of committal is to be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday, 21st December at 11.30am, followed by a service of thanksgiving in memory of Ez at Key Green Methodist Church, at 12.30pm. PORTER (Winifred, “Win”). Entered eternal rest on Friday, 26th November 2021, at Claybourne Nursing Home, Win, aged 93, of Knypersley. The dearly devoted and beloved wife of the late Sam, and a loving sister, dearest aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt and a treasured friend to many. Win will be deeply missed by all her loving family and many friends. The funeral and committal service are at Carmountside Crematorium on Thursday, 16th December at 1pm. ROBERTSON (Adrienne Josephine, nee Bradbury). Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 1st December 2021, at Leighton Hospital, aged 78. The eldest daughter of R Joseph B Bradbury, founder of Congleton Board Ltd, and Dorothy M Bradbury. She was a loving sister to Lucinda; mother to Angus and Duncan Robertson, and grandmother to James, Finlay, Jess and Ollie. She spent her final years at Willowmere in Middlewich but her heart always remained in Congleton. Adrienne will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis, Northwich, at 1pm on Tuesday, 14th December. We request that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
