BOULTON (Joan). Peacefully at Lawton Manor Care Home on Friday, 2nd December 2022 surrounded by her dearest family, John and Diane, Joan, aged 95, of Biddulph. The beloved and devoted wife of the late Leslie, and a dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt and a good friend to many. Joan will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. The funeral service is at St Lawrence’s Church on Tuesday, 20th December at 11am, prior to interment at Biddulph Town Burial Ground. BURN (Anne Jennifer, née Alksnuzarins). Passed away peacefully on Monday, 5th December, aged 68, surrounded by all her family. Adored and dedicated mum of Anthony, Melissa and Stephanie, and their partners Paul, Jay and Rachel and the most wonderful nana to Freida and Margot. Anne will be deeply missed by all family and friends. The funeral service is at St Winefride’s Church, Sandbach, on Friday, 30th December at noon, followed by a private committal at The Birches Crematorium. BURT (Celia). Passed away peacefully on 7th December 2022, Celia, aged 82, of Wheelock. The beloved wife of Keith; much-loved mum to Suzanne and Linden, mother-in-law and treasured grandma. DANBY (Glenys, “Jane”, nee Leese). Peacefully at rest on Thursday, 1st December 2022 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity, Jane, aged 70, of Alsager and formerly of Scholar Green. The dearly beloved wife of Alan; loved step-mum of Richard, Matthew and family – Davina, Libby, Francesca, Imogen, Josh and Ella – and a dear sister of Paul, Mark, John and the late Michael. Jane will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The funeral service is at Rhema Church, Rode Heath, (ST7 3SD), on Tuesday, 20th December at 11am, followed by cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. EDWARDS (Peter). Peacefully at home on 6th December, Peter, aged 77, of Sandbach. The much-loved father of Andrew and father-in-law of Fay; dearly loved granddad of Alex and William and great-granddad of Max; much-loved uncle of Martin, Sally-Anne and Mark, and treasured brother-in-law of Joan, Freda, June and Denise. HOLT (Phyllis Mildred). Phyllis, passed away peacefully on Saturday, 3rd December 2022 at Spring Bank Nursing Home, aged 87. The cherished wife of the late Reg; the loving mum of Angela, and the late Jennifer; mother-in-law to Phil; grandma to Ashley, Sara, Robert and Lee; Little Nanny to Thea, Kayden, Rya, and Mia, a loved sister to Beryl and auntie to Jane and Sally. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered for her chatty nature, and her love for the town’s local shop owners. She was as good as the local newspaper when it came to whatever was going on. She could never sit still and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral is at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 10am on Friday, 16th December. The family is truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Phyllis’ memory. HUDSON (Margaret Georgina). Passed away peacefully at home on 9th December 2022, Maggie, aged 83, of Knypersley, formerly of Sandbach and born in Holmes Chapel. The devoted wife of David; treasured mum to Peter and Andrew, and a mother-in-law, dearly loved nana and great-nana. The funeral service is at Birches Crematorium on Friday, 23rd December at 1pm. LAING (James, “Jimmy”). Suddenly passed away on Monday, 5th December 2022, aged 72. A dear friend and neighbour to many who was much loved and will be sadly missed. The funeral is on Monday, 19th December at 1.30pm at English Martyrs’ RC Church (ST8 6NE) followed by committal at Carmountside Crematorium at 3pm.
