Sunday sees local band The Extractions playing in Congleton Park bandstand.
They’ll deliver a mixture of classic songs from the 60s through to the present.
The band will play two 45-minute sets between 2pm and 4pm.
This year, the band is supporting Ruby’s Fund, the Congleton-based charity that supports children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Ruby’s sensory bus will be in the park along with members of the Ruby’s team.
A small part of the collection on Sunday will be given to Friends of Congleton Park. The band thanked Glen Williams and the group for “their support and hospitality”.
An Extractions spokesperson said of Sunday’s gig: “This is a great opportunity to support fabulous local charity Ruby’s and to find out a little more of what they bring to our community, particularly for those with special needs.
“Additionally this year we’re pleased to welcome our friends from Wellspring Methodist Church, opposite Congleton War Memorial Hospital on Canal Road. The church supports many local community groups and will bring their Lego Church to help entertain young children.
“We were very pleased to have been in last week’s ‘Chronicle’, remembered for our first gig from 1995 – we only had four songs then – so we played them all twice!
“That gig was for Congleton Round Table to raise money for local good causes, and it’s a privilege to be doing the same 30 years later. There’s still a couple of those songs in our set and they will be included on Sunday.”
