A horse trapped in a ditch was rescued by firefighters.
Crews from Sandyford and Leek were called to Stonehouse Lane, Brown Edge, at 4.40pm last Tuesday.
A tractor and a lifting gear were used to free the horse, which was safely out of the ditch by 6pm.
