Witness appeal after motorcyclist’s death

Cheshire Police has appealed for information after a motorcyclist was killed in Church Lawton on Thursday night.

Officers were called to the Red Bull traffic lights, the junction of Congleton Road South and Liverpool Road West, after receiving reports of a one-vehicle collision involving a red Yamaha motorbike.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Police want anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have any dashcam footage of the vehicles before the incident to come forward.
