BLOOR (Maire Therese). Formerly of Gillow Heath, Biddulph. Died peacefully in her sleep on 24th December 2023, aged 85. Maire was the dearly loved wife of deceased husband Graham and a much-loved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. The funeral service is to take place at English Martyrs’ Church on Tuesday, 23rd January at 11am, followed by burial at Biddulph Town Burial Ground. BUDENBERG. Geoffrey Frank, of Lower Withington, died 20th December 2023 in his sleep at Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 91. Much loved husband of 65 years of Claire, father of Mark and Caroline (Cally), grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed. Cremation Wednesday, 17th January at noon at The Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis, CW9 7SU. EDWARDS (Eric). Peacefully on Saturday, 30th December 2023 while in the care of nursing staff at RSUH. Eric, aged 83, of Biddulph, formerly of Cannock Chase. The devoted and beloved husband of Alma, treasured dad of Janet, Susan and Andrea, a dearest father-in-law to Kevin, Allan and Ed, cherished little granddad of Daniel, Katy, Steven, Leanne, Andrea, Rio and Remi, a much-loved little great-granddad, uncle and a good friend and neighbour to many. Eric will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Biddulph Methodist Church on Thursday, 25th January at 10.30am prior to a private committal service. GALLIMORE (Graham Frank). Passed away on 7th December 2023 in the care of Clayton Manor Nursing Home, aged 83. He was the much loved husband of Jean, adored father of Julie and Lynn, dear father-in-law of John and Neil, proud and loving granddad to Lucy, Mia and Joe, also great-granddad to Florence. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A service of thanksgiving will be held on Monday, 22nd January at Trinity Methodist Church, Congleton, at 11am. GRIFFITHS (John Samuel “Sam”). Peacefully while sleeping at home on Friday, 29th December 2023. Sam, aged 90, of Biddulph Moor.
