BARNETT (Doris). It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the death of a very special woman. Doris passed away on Saturday, 7th June at Hollins Park Care Home, aged 90. She was the most cherished wife of the late Mr Peter Samuel Barnett; loving mum to Jennifer, Catherine, Neil and the late Elaine; loved mother-in-law to Mammad, Malcolm and Kerry; much-loved grandmar of Jennifer, Emma, Cheryl, John, Gemma, Soraya, Natalie and Rarmeen, and adored great-grandmar to many great-grandchildren. Doris will be fondly remembered for her love of baking, flower arranging, her two Border Collies and for being a loyal friend to many. After a long career at Johnson Tiles, in his retirement Phil enjoyed driving for the Biddulph Volunteer Bureau, playing bowls and bridge, and was very involved with Biddulph u3a.
