Sadly passed away on Sunday, 4th May 2025 while at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, and in the presence of her loving family, Kathleen, aged 86 years, of Congleton, formerly of Scholar Green. THOMPSON (George). George passed away peacefully on Saturday, 31st May 2025 at Macclesfield District General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, aged 87. He was the dearly loved husband of Norma; loving dad to David, Diane and Paul; respected father-in-law to Andrew and Kim; much-loved granddad of Kelly, Nikki, Jessica, George and Kian, and great-granddad to Thomas and Archer, and a respected brother and uncle. George will be lovingly remembered for his warm personality, friendly smile, love of gardening and strength of character and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
