Death Notices, 20th June 2024

ACIR (Iona). Passed away on 6th June 2024, with her family by her side, aged 14. Iona was a much-loved daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter and friend. She will be greatly missed and forever loved. Rest in peace, angel. The funeral service will be held at St Winefride’s Church, Sandbach, on Tuesday, 25th June at 11am. Donations can kindly be made to Claire House, Clatterbridge, Wirral. ADAMS (Janet “Jan”, née Baldwin). Suddenly but peacefully on 12th June at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Jan, aged 59, of Harriseahead. The much-loved and loving wife of Paul; loving daughter of the late Derek and Pauline Baldwin, and sadly missed by Poppy. Jan will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. The funeral service is to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday, 4th July at 11.20am. BEALE (Alan Geoffrey). At rest on Monday, 10th June 2024, while at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Alan, aged 77, of Biddulph. The devoted and beloved husband of Gill; treasured dad of Jason and Ben; dearest father-in-law to Deb, a loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle, and a very good friend and neighbour to many. Alan will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Friday, 28th June at 2pm. Will relatives please accept this, the only intimation, and would friends wishing to attend kindly meet for the service. HALL (Irene, née Mountford). Peacefully passed away on 28th May 2024, at Lake View Nursing Home, with family by her side, Irene, aged 73, of Biddulph. The devoted wife of the late Julian Ptak, and a dearly loved mum, nan, great-nan and sister. Irene will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday, 21st June at 10.30am. Would family and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium. Floral tributes welcome. WILLIAMS (Robert Lee). Passed away peacefully at Macclesfield District General Hospital on 31st May, Robert Lee Williams, aged 90. A devoted husband to the late Barbara and a treasured dad to Beverley and Susan; a much-loved granddad to Rebecca, Victoria and Alison, and a great-granddad and great-great-granddad. Robert will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The funeral service is to take place on Wednesday, 26th June at 1pm at Crewe Crematorium.
