BAILEY (Muriel Anne). Passed away peacefully at Lawton Manor Care Home on 13th October, 2021, Muriel, aged 91, of Scholar Green. The devoted wife of the late Brian; dearly loved mum to Gillian and Helen; treasured nan and granny. The funeral service is to be held at All Saints’ Church, Odd Rode, on Monday, 1st November at noon, followed by interment in the churchyard. CREED (Norma). The death occurred very peacefully in Tameside General Hospital on 13th October, 2021, of Mrs Norma Creed, aged 81, of Hadfield. Norma was the devoted wife of the late Colin Creed. She leaves her beloved sons Nicholas and Julian; loving daughters-in-law Jayne and Ellie; her loving granddaughters Rebecca and Sophia, and her great-grandchildren Oliver and Esme. Norma will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The funeral will take place on Friday, 5th November, with a service at Glossop Parish Church, Old Glossop, at 11am and will be followed by interment at Glossop Cemetery at 11.45am. GARDINER (John). Passed away peacefully on 14th October at The Christie Hospital, Manchester, John, aged 77, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted husband of 56 years to Maureen; a loving dad to David, and a proud granddad to Alex and Ethan. At John’s request a private service will take place at a future date. HEATH (John, “Smiler”). It is with great sadness that the family announces that on Sunday, 10th October, 2021, John, aged 77, of Biddulph, sadly passed away at Rowan Court Care Home. A much loved and beloved husband of Florence; loving father of Kathleen and Mark; treasured grandfather of Carly; a dearest brother of Errol, Robert and Maria, and brother-in-law to Pauline, Phyllis, Irene and Bill. The cortege is to leave her home on Thursday, 28th October at 11.30am for a service and cremation at Macclesfield Crematorium at 12.15pm. There will be a service of thanksgiving for Julie’s life at Trinity Methodist Church, Congleton, at 1.30pm on Monday, 1st November, following a private committal service at Macclesfield Crematorium. Connor will be so sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all his loving family and many friends. STONEHOUSE (Madeline Jean). Peacefully on 7th October, 2021, in Macclesfield District General Hospital, Madeline, aged 89. Actress and teacher. The wife of the late James; beloved mother of Ian and Cathy, and cherished grandmother to Freya. Madeline will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. The funeral service is at St Luke’s Church, Holmes Chapel, on Tuesday, 26th October at 2pm, followed by committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.
