Death Notices, 4th November, 2021

BAILEY (Sheila). Peacefully at rest on Friday, 22nd October, 2021, at Astbury Mere Care Home in the presence of her devoted husband. Sheila, aged 82, of Congleton. A much loved wife of Michael, much admired mum of Mark and the late Lesley, loved sister of Muriel and aunt to Jean. Sheila will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Trinity Methodist Church, Congleton, on Tuesday, 9th November at 2.15pm, prior to committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. BENNETT (Reginald). Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 17th October, 2021, at RSUH. Reginald, aged 96, of Newchapel. Now reunited with his beloved wife Nancy. A much loved dad of Kevin and Wendy and the late Alan, loved father-in-law of Susan and Christopher, treasured granddad of Paul, Claire, Karl, Sarah, Emma, Lucy, Lewis and Jack and great-granddad of Lily-Rose, Hugh, Kade, Livvie-Lea, James, Joshua and Everly. Reginald will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Funeral service at Newchapel Methodist Church on Wednesday, 10th November at 11.30am prior to interment at Woodhouse Burial Ground. CLARANCE (Eva, Pearson). Passed away peacefully on 22nd October at East Cheshire Hospice, with her daughter Wendy and her sister Julie holding her hands. She will be sadly missed by her entire family and her many friends and colleagues around the world. Eva will be having a private cremation and then, in early December, we will be holding a celebration of her life, in Congleton Town Hall. COPELAND (Stephen). Peacefully at RSUH on Thursday, 28th October, 2021. Stephen, aged 62, of Brown Lees. The devoted husband of the late Janet, treasured dad of Shaun and Lee, dearest brother of John and Richard, cherished granddad of Archie and Alice, loving father-in-law to Katie and Nicola, much loved uncle of Shane, Jemma, Leona, Declan, Chelsea and Shannon, a dear partner to Alison, brother-in-law and a very good friend to many. Stephen will be missed dearly by all his loving family and friends. The funeral service will take place at St Lawrences’ Church, Biddulph, on Friday, 12th November at noon, prior to a committal service at Bradwell Crematorium. EDWARDS (Lynne). Passed away after a long illness on 21st October, 2021, aged 65, and of Congleton. Devoted and beloved niece and cousin of Alen and Margaret (uncle and aunty), Helen (cousin), Martin, Caden and Leo. The funeral service will be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday, 16th November at 3.30pm. HAMILTON-FEY (Anne). Suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday, 26th October, 2021. Anne, aged 86, of Alsager. Much loved partner of Neil, treasured mum of Clare and Ian, dear mother-in-law of Joanne, devoted grandma of Charlotte, Sarah, Peter, Myles and William and very good friend to many. Please could all mourners wear something bright as Anne’s favourite colour is purple. Service at Wesley Place Methodist Church, Alsager on Monday, 8th November at 1pm followed by cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. Cortege leaves her home at 1.30pm on Friday, 5th November for service at Trinity Methodist Church, Congleton at 2pm, prior to interment at Congleton Edge. WOOLLAM (Keith). It is with great sadness that the family of Keith Woollam announces his passing on 28th October, 2021, at the age of 86. Keith, dearly loved husband of Enid, devoted dad of Ian and Elizabeth, treasured grandpa of Josephine and dear father-in-law of Jackie and Robert, passed away peacefully at home, and will be lovingly remembered, always. Keith was a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
