BLOOR (Rosamond). Passed away peacefully on 26th May 2024, Ros, aged 89, of Elworth. The beloved wife of the late Tony; dearly loved mum to Andrew, and a treasured mother-in-law and grandma. The funeral service is to be held at St Peter’s Church, Elworth, on Wednesday, 19th June at noon, followed by committal at Birches Crematorium. BOON (Joan). Passed away peacefully at Macclesfield District General Hospital on Saturday, 25th May 2024, Joan, aged 92, of Congleton. The devoted wife of the late John; cherished mum of Janet, John, Joanne and Susan; loving mother-in-law of Keith, Carole Jim and Paul; a treasured nana and great-nana, Joan will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends, but fondly remembered. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Methodist church Congleton on Wednesday, 19th June at noon, followed by committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. CLOWES (June Elizabeth). Peacefully on 23rd May 2024 at home, June Elizabeth, aged 86, of Congleton. The dear wife of Sam and the late Wallace Bailey; loving mum of David and step-mum of Stuart; dear mother-in-law of Paula; cherished gran of Monet and Jarad, and a treasured great-gran of Luana. A service is to take place at Rood Lane Methodist Chapel on Friday, 7th June at 11am, prior to interment at Davenport Chapel. FOSTER (Barbara Mary, formerly Gibarosa, née Head). Passed away peacefully at Four Seasons Nursing Home, Saltburn, on Monday, 27th May, aged 74. LOVATT (Eric). Peacefully passed at Royal Stoke University Hospital on 24th May 2024, with his son Stephen and daughter-in-law Pat by his side, Eric, aged 95, of Biddulph. The devoted husband of the late Audrey; much-loved dad of Stephen and Pat; dearly loved granddad of Daniel and Louise; cherished great-granddad of Jacob; a special brother to Norma, and a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Eric will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. A funeral service is to be held to celebrate the life of Eric at Biddulph Methodist Church, on Friday, 14th June at 2pm, followed by interment at Woodhouse Burial Ground. PARKER (Margaret Helen, née Pierpoint). Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 23rd May 2024, at Tall Oaks Nursing Home, Biddulph, Margaret, aged 92, formerly of Congleton, but born and raised in Kidsgrove. She enjoyed working at Deluxe in Congleton. She was the devoted wife of the late Derek; very dear sister-in-law to Brian, Jacky and Marie, and cherished aunty of Anthony, Stephen, Elaine, Graham, Gavin, Alicia and Leslie. The funeral service is to take place at St Peter’s Church, Congleton, on Wednesday, 12th June at 1pm. RICHARDS (David). Dave passed away peacefully on Thursday, 30th May 2024 at home surrounded by his loving wife and carers, aged 75. The cherished husband of Louise; much-loved brother to Frank and brother-in-law to Rod; and a respected uncle and friend to many. Dave will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, warm personality and friendly smile, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral will be held at Macclesfield Crematorium at 10.45am on Wednesday, 19th June. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Dave’s life.
