ASHLEY (Michael John). Peacefully at home on Monday, 14th March 2022, Michael, aged 77, of Alsager. The husband of the late Barbara; devoted partner of Ann; much-loved dad of Levii, and granddad of Declan, Samuel and Lola. The service is at Bradwell Crematorium on Friday, 1st April at 12.40pm. The dearly loved and devoted wife of Norman; loving mum of Jack, Diane and Roger; dear mother-in-law of Carole and Peter; cherished nan of Adam, Jenna-Rose, Olivia, Theo, Jackson, Emily and Jack; treasured great-nan of Jessica, and a dear sister of Elsie, Betty, Kenneth, the late Mary, Michael, Barbara and Robert. The cortege leaves her home at 1.10pm on Monday, 28th March for a service at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, at 1.30pm, prior to interment at Biddulph Town Cemetery. HANCOCK (Patricia, “Pat”). Formerly of Bank House Brownlow, peacefully passed away at her home in Winsford, on 21st March 2022, surrounded by family, aged 73. The dearly loved partner of Les Craddock, and loving mum of David and the late Ian. HAWKES (Ian). Sadly passed away on 4th March 2022 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Ian, aged 77. MAXFIELD (Myra). Peacefully at rest on Saturday, 12th March 2022, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Myra, aged 89, of Rode Heath and formerly of Dales Green, Mow Cop. The dearly loved daughter of the late Fred and Alice Maxfield, and a much-loved aunty of Malcolm, Keith, Stephen and Julie. Myra will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The funeral service and cremation are at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday, 5th April at noon. MORRIS (Jean Mary). Passed away after a short illness at Macclesfield District General Hospital on Tuesday, 8th March 2022, aged 83. Predeceased by her dear husband, John Michael (“Mike”) Morris. A much-loved sister to Irene and the late Patricia; sister-in-law to the late Joe and the late Basil; loving aunt and godmother to Christopher and loving aunt to Caroline and Elizabeth; devoted great-aunt to Jenna, Rebecca, Michaela, Joseph and Samuel, and very much loved by niece-in-law Angela and by nephews-in-law “CJ” and John, and by her many friends, including former colleagues in Congleton. She will be deeply missed. A requiem mass takes place at St Mary’s RC Chapel on Friday, 1st April, at 1.15pm, followed by private interment. NIXON (Winifred, “Winnie”). Peacefully passed away at Springbank Nursing Home on 22nd February 2022, Winnie, aged 90, of Biddulph Moor. The dearly loved daughter of the late Johnathan and Harriet; dear sister of Margaret and Phyllis, and much-loved partner of the late Enoch. Winnie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends. A funeral service and committal to celebrate the life of Winnie is on Thursday, 31st March at 10.30am at Christ Church, Biddulph Moor. The devoted wife of the late Ronnie Hough and the late Peter Nortier; dearly loved mother of Marvin, Gary, Denise, Jeremy, Paul and the late Belinda; dear mother-in-law of Christine, Mark, Carole and Julie; treasured nana of Lee, Steven, Joanne, George, Neve, Amelia, Ashley, Jonathan, Sophie and Samantha; a dear sister of Maureen, George and the late Ralph, and a much-loved auntie and great-grandma. Elsie will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends.
