BINNS (Donald Rainford, “Don”). Passed away peacefully at Cranford Grange on Friday, 31st October 2025, aged 87 years. The funeral service will be held at Birches Crematorium and Remembrance Park on Tuesday, 25th November at 1pm. Family flowers only by request; donations if desired to the RNLI. CLARKE (Mary Elizabeth). Passed away peacefully at Macclesfield Hospital on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, Mary Elizabeth Clarke aged 89, of Congleton. The dearly beloved wife of the late Tony, and a much-loved mum, nana and great-nana. The service is to take place on Thursday, 4th December at St Mary’s Church, Sandbach, at 11am, followed by a committal at Sandbach cemetery. Family flowers only please. PROCTOR (Donald). Peacefully on 10th November 2025, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Donald, aged 93 years, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted husband of the late Margaret Joan Proctor; loving uncle of Anita, Martin, Kevin and Jacqui, and great uncle of Sam. The cortege is to leave his home on Monday, 15th December at 1pm for service at St Peter’s Church, Congleton, at 1.15pm, prior to interment at Congleton Town Cemetery. SANT (Vera). Passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, surrounded by her loving family, Vera, aged 81 years, of Congleton. The dearly loved wife of Chris; cherished mum of Phillip and the late Shaun; treasured Nana of Ewan, Thea and Lylah, and adored sister of Jean, Anne, Irene and Alan. Vera will be sadly missed by all who knew her but fondly remembered. A service of celebration for Vera’s life will be held at The Birches Crematorium on Friday, 19th December at 11am.
