Death Notices, 29th April, 2021

BAYLEY (Ivan Frederick Frank). Born 24th January 1939, in Congleton, passed away peacefully at home in Huntly, Aberdeenshire, on 24th April 2021. The beloved husband of Emmy; proud father of Sarah, and father-in-law of Barry; adored grandfather of Finn and Skye. Ivan was a local businessman and founding member of the Congleton Chamber of Trade who retired to Scotland in 2000. Ivan had a great passion for outdoor sports and the countryside. He will be sadly missed by friends and family. May he rest in peace. There will be a private funeral due to covid-19 restrictions.

JOHNSON (John William). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 21st April 2021, Johnny, aged 70 years, of Sandbach. The dearly loved husband of Bunty; precious Dad to Lucy and Sam; wonderful Ma to Connie and Hermione and treasured father-in-law to Neil. BROWN (Jack Alfred Buchanan). Jack passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, 14th April 2021, aged 80. He was the loving partner of Margaret and step-father to Mark. Jack was Jack! He was always his own man, very intelligent and generous, with a keen sense of humour. A warm, caring “gentleman”. He was respected by everyone and will be fondly missed. The funeral will be held privately at Birches Crematorium, Northwich on Friday, 7th May. Donations can be sent in lieu of flowers and will be gifted to the British Heart Foundation. GIBSON (Pauline). Of your charity please pray for the repose of the soul of Pauline, aged 86 years, who departed this life on 21st April 2021 at Macclesfield District General Hospital. HOWARTH (Peter Raymond). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital with his loving family by his side on 21st April 2021, Peter, of Sandbach.
