MARTIN (Peter). With great sadness we announce his unexpected but blessedly swift passing on 15th January 2026, aged 93 years. He will be greatly missed. A devoted and loving husband of Amanda Martin and the late Irene Martin; father to John, Peter, Stephen and Simon; father-in-law to Jane, Hayley and Karen; grandfather to Aaron, James, Bethany and Samuel, and great-grandfather to Eleanor, Charlotte, Louie, Charlie, Rosie, Conor, Holly, Logan and Brodie. He was known locally as a businessman owning “Peter Martin” television shops. He was also a pillar of the community and for many years an elder at New Life Church in Congleton. Cremation will be private for family only. People are welcome to join us for a celebration service of Peter’s life on Friday, 6th February, 5pm, at New Life Church, West Road, Congleton.
