BARBER (Glenys Hazel, née Dixon). Passed away peacefully on 19th February 2023, Hazel, aged 74 years, of Winterley and former proprietor of Ruskin Road Stores, Crewe. The beloved wife of the late Tony; much-loved mum to Lisa and Carl, and cherished Mama of Natasha and Ashley. A private committal is to take place. BARRINGTON WEBB (Barry). Peacefully passed away, with his loving family by his side, at Royal Stoke University Hospital on 14th February 2023, Barry, age 84 years of Biddulph. The beloved husband of Beverley; devoted dad of Martyn and Nicky; father-in-law of Jon; dearly loved granddad of Daniel, Danielle, Tom and Harry, and a special brother of David. Barry will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday, 14th March at 10.40am. DANIEL (Sheila Mary). After a long illness, bravely borne, Sheila passed away on 4th February, aged 84. A beloved wife to the late Reg; treasured mum to James and mother-in-law to Lisa; dearly loved grandma to Alexander and Sebastian; cherished sister to Betty and the late Edna and Arthur, and much loved by Helen, Steve and all the family. Sheila was a highly valued family member and friend who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. A funeral to celebrate the life of Sheila will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday, 9th March at 3.20pm, and afterwards at The Egerton Arms, Astbury. DAVIES (Frederick Littlemore). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 21st February 2023, Fred aged 90 years, of Sandbach. FAIRHURST (Geoffrey). Passed away peacefully at Park House Care Home, Sandbach on Saturday, 11th February 2023, aged 92. The much-loved husband of the late Margaret Fairhurst; loving dad to Stephen and David, and father-in-law to Lynn; adored grandpa to Thomas, Danielle, Sophie, Emma and Jacob, and a devoted great granddad to Finley, Willow, Eric, Jason, Liam, Bobby and Jordan. Geoffrey will be sadly missed by all family and friends. The funeral service is at Wheelock Congregational Church, Sandbach, on Monday, 20th March at 11am, followed by interment at Christ Church, Wheelock. HEATHCOTE (Russell, “Russ”). Peacefully on Thursday, 16th February 2023, while at Leighton Hospital, Russ, aged 78 years, of Harriseahead. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Eileen; treasured dad of David; a dearest brother of Marion, and a much-loved uncle, brother-in-law and a dear friend and neighbour to many. The dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Joe Kirby; loving mum of Jan, Paul and Nigel; dear mother-in-law of Steve, Michelle and Vesna; cherished Granny B of Chris, Rachel, James, Josh and Hattie, and treasured Great GG of Teddy, Millie and Abigail. The cortege is to leave her son Paul’s home on Thursday, 16th March at 2.15pm for a service at Holy Trinity Church, Mossley, at 2.15pm, prior to committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. MASSEY (Iris). Iris passed away peacefully on Sunday, 19th February 2023, at home and surrounded by her loving family, aged 84. The cherished wife of Graham; loving mother to Linda and the late Glynn and Dianne, and a much-loved grandma to Gemma and Stephen. Iris will be lovingly remembered for her warm personality and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral will be held at Macclesfield Crematorium, at 10am on Thursday, 9th March. NICKLIN (Betty Yvonne Alice). It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty Nicklin, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, at Heliosa Nursing Home on 7th February 2023, aged 89.
