ALTON (Sheila Mary). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 27th February 2023, Sheila, aged 88, of Haslington. A dearly loved mum to Matt and Giles, and a much-loved grandma and great-grandma. The funeral service is at Crewe Crematorium on Tuesday, 14th March at 2.45pm. BASKEYFIELD (Margaret Ann, nee Leigh). Peacefully on Monday, 20th February 2023 at Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Margaret, aged 84, of Biddulph. The beloved wife of the late Arthur and a dearly loved partner to Allan; devoted mum of Paul, Janice and the late Carl; dearest mother-in-law to Angela and Paul; most precious mamma of Joanna, and a dearest friend and neighbour to many. Margaret will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all her loving family and many friends. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Friday, 17th March at noon, prior to interment at St Lawrence’s Churchyard. The dearly loved mum of Ron; dear mother-in-law of Marian; treasured nan of Simon, Philip and Simon’s partner Melanie; devoted great-nan of Jordan, Kiera and Lucas; loving sister-in-law of Iris; dear aunt of Jean and Janet; dear great-aunt of Michelle, and good friend to many. The devoted and loving wife of Barrie; much-loved mum of Geoffrey, Christopher and Martyn; loved mother-in-law of Sarah and Ken; precious nana of Christopher and Nigel, and an adored great-nana of Spencer.
