ALLEN. (Gordon James). Gordon James Allen, of Congleton, passed away suddenly at his home on 14th April 2024, aged 92. The beloved husband of the late Aileen and much-loved father of Jim and Deirdre Allen. BAILEY (Brian). Passed away peacefully at Macclesfield District General Hospital on 4th April 2024, Brian, aged 68, from Congleton. A devoted son of the late Doreen and Kenneth; dearly loved brother of John; brother-in-law of Christine; uncle of Simon and Clair and great-uncle of Lucy, Louis, Leon and Jacob. Brian will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The service will take place at St Peter’s Church, Congleton, on Tuesday, 7th May at 2.30pm. DEAKIN (Christine). Peacefully passed away at Royal Stoke University Hospital on 12th April 2024, Christine, aged 78, of Henley Avenue, Knypersley. The devoted wife of the late John; dearly loved mum of Sharron and Mark; a cherished nan of Kirsty and Gavin and great-nan to Kaiyah, and a very dear friend to many. Christine will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. MCGUINNESS (Andrew John, “Lord Of The Golf”). On Saturday, 20th April 2024, peacefully at home, Andrew passed away, aged 74. The cherished partner of Carin; a loving dad to John and Paul, and a much-loved granddad to Sid. Andrew will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. ROGERS (Gillian Anne). Peacefully passed at Macclesfield District General Hospital on 25th April 2024 with her loving family by her side, Gillian, aged 85, of Gillow Heath. The devoted wife of the late Derek; dearly loved mum of Angela, Joy and Alan; cherished mother-in-law of Roy, Gary and Lesley; much-loved nanna of Sarah, Tim, Emma, Megan and Ashley; a loving great-nanna of Jake, Harley, Max and Remi, and a very special friend to many.
