BAILEY (Doreen). Passed away peacefully at Applecroft Residential Home on Tuesday 1st May 2024, Doreen, aged 92 years, of Congleton. The devoted wife of the late Gerry; cherished mum of David and Stephen; loved mother-in-law of Diane and Susan; treasured mama to Alice. Doreen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all that knew her. The funeral service will take place at St Peter’s Church, Congleton, on Thursday, 16th May at 10.30am. Family flowers only. BOWYER (Kenneth). Peacefully on 30th April 2024, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Kenneth, aged 93 years of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Margaret; loving dad of Yvonne and Stuart; dear father-in-law of Neil and Lyn; cherished grandad to Stephanie, and treasured great-grandad to Jenson. The cortege is to leave his home on Thursday, 30th May at 10.45am for a service at the United Reformed Church Congleton at 11am, prior to interment at Congleton Town Cemetery. CORNELIUS (Mary). Peacefully passed away at Royal Stoke University Hospital on 22nd April 2024, with her loving family by her side, Mary, aged 77 years of Biddulph. The devoted wife of the late Alexander Francis Cornelius; dearly loved mum of Stephen and John, mother-in-law of Sharon; much-loved grandmother to Laura, Connor, Riley and Lainey, and a beloved friend to many. Mary will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The funeral service will take place at English Martyrs Church, Biddulph, on Tuesday, 14th May at 12.45pm, followed by a cremation at Carmountside Crematorium. DARBYSHIRE (Suzanne Muriel). Passed away peacefully at East Cheshire Hospice, with her husband and sister by her side, on 28th April 2024, Sue aged 62 years, of Marton and district. The devoted wife of Bob; dearly loved mum of Rob and Jill; dear mother-in-law of Kate, a much-loved nana of Alex and Harry, and a special great nana of Tyler.
