APPLETON (Angela, “Angie”). Peacefully on 12th December 2022, after a battle fought with great courage and dignity, Angela, “Angie”, aged 57, of Congleton. The cortege leaves her home on at 1.15pm on Thursday, 12th January for a service and interment at St Mary’s Church, Astbury, at 1.30pm. CROSBY (Shirley). At rest on Thursday, 15th December 2022, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Shirley, aged 85, of Biddulph Moor. The beloved wife of the late Peter; much-loved mum of Stephanie and the late Paul David; dear mother-in-law of Andrew; much-loved nana of Tom and Becky, and dear sister of the late Joe. DEAN (John). On 28th December 2022 peacefully passed away, John, aged 84, of Hartford, Congleton and Mow Cop. KEENEN (John E). Passed away peacefully on 15th December 2022, after a short illness, with his family by his side. The beloved wife of the late John Brian Lovatt; much-loved mother of Craig, David and the late Angela; mother-in-law of Carolyn and Helen; treasured mama of Suzanne, Christopher, Joseph and Samuel, and great-grandmother of Charlotte, Thomas, Henry, George and Ava; loving sister of William and Donald; dearest sister-in-law of Pauline, Joan, Wesley and the late Jean, and a dear aunty and friend. REDFERN (Avrial). Avrial passed away peacefully on Sunday, 18th December 2022, at East Cheshire Hospice, surrounded by her loving family and friends, aged 76. She was the cherished wife of Allan, proud mother of Nicola and mother-in-law to Chris, and a much-loved granny to Sam and Sophie. Av had a heart of gold. Her family and friends meant the world to her, and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. We are grateful for all the support and kind messages sent to our family at this sad time. Her funeral will be held at Birches Remembrance Park and Crematorium, Northwich, at noon on Wednesday, 11th January. May we request that instead of flowers, donations are made to East Cheshire Hospice and Myositis UK. SWINDELLS (Frances). Peacefully passed at Royal Stoke University Hospital, on 18th December 2022, Frances, aged 73, of Biddulph. The dearly loved partner of the late Roy Barlow, a much-loved mum, nan and great-nan, and a special friend to many. Frances will be sadly missed by her family, friends and neighbours.
