DEPLEDGE. Peacefully on 24th May 2023 at Macclesfield District General Hospital. Terence “Terry”, aged 76, of Congleton (former proprietor of Terry’s Fishing Tackle Shop, Lawton Street). The dearly loved son of the late Frank and the late Alice Depledge. Graveside service and interment at St Mary’s Church, Astbury on Friday, 16th June at noon. EDWARDS (David Geoffrey). At rest on Tuesday, 23rd May 2023 at MDGH. David, aged 73, of Congleton. The devoted and loving husband of Anne, treasured dad of Kathryn, dearest brother of Elisabeth Donnelly, a much loved brother-in-law to Geoffrey Haywood and the late Douglas Donnelly and Patricia Haywood and a good friend and neighbour to many. FIRTH (David Edwin Martyn). Martyn passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, 28th May 2023 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, with his loving family by his side, aged 78. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Carolyn, loving father to Andrea and Edwin, much loved father-in-law of Ray and Ronelle. Respected brother to Richard and Dennis Evans, and the late Deirdre Firth. Martyn was a much loved family member and highly valued friend. He will be lovingly remembered for his warm personality and words of wisdom and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at noon on Thursday, 15th June. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Martyn’s life. The family will be wearing colours and invite you to do the same; black ties not necessary. GRAHAM (Jennifer). Passed away peacefully at Royal Stoke University Hospital on Friday, 26th May 2023, aged 77. Jennifer was the loved and devoted wife of David, cherished mum of Mark and Sally, very dear mother-in-law to Dylan, treasured nana of Amelie and Eloise. Jennifer will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family, friends and all who knew her. Funeral service at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday, 8th June at 10.40am. LALLY (Anthony Dennis “Tony”). Suddenly on Saturday, 20th May at RSUH. Tony, aged 79, of Biddulph. The devoted and beloved husband of Teresa, treasured dad of Helen, Rachel, John and Jane, dearest father-in-law to Kevin, Charlotte and Darren, most precious granddad of Cerys, Amy, Bethany, Amber, Dylan, Thomas, Scarlet, Kian, Lewis and Oscar, a much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a very dear friend and good neighbour to many. Tony was a true gentleman who was well respected by all who were fortunate enough to know him. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will take place at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Thursday, 15th June at 11am prior to interment at Woodhouse Burial Ground. The dearly devoted and beloved husband of Yvonne, treasured dad of Daniel and Matthew, dearest father-in-law to Mandy and Rikki, cherished granddad Steve to Robin, much loved brother of David and brother-in-law to Carol, Sandra and Barry, loving uncle to Richard, Lee, Jayne, Anthony, Dominic and the late Paul and a dear friend and neighbour to many. Steve will be greatly missed by all his loving family and friends. A private committal service will take place prior to a service of celebration and thanksgiving at New Road Methodist Church, Biddulph Moor on Tuesday, 13th June at 11.30am. Sheila will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends. Funeral service at All Saints’ Church, Odd Rode on Thursday, 22nd June at 10.45am followed by a private cremation at Bradwell Crematorium.
