Biddulph Library will host an Art UK Tagger event on Monday (20th October), from 10am to noon.
Art UK is the digital home of more than 600,000 artworks in UK public collections, and Tagger is a crowdsourcing initiative that allows people to add keywords to these artworks to make them more discoverable for others.
For this workshop, Art UK will focus on art in local collections and spend some time exploring the work of local artist Jack Simcock.
Over the past few months, Art UK has been working with Outside Arts to bring Tagger workshops to the Staffordshire Moorlands. No experience is necessary, and booking is free.
Tickets can be booked via eventbrite.co.uk by searching “An Introduction to Tagger Jack Simcock”.
