Sandbach MP Sarah Russell recently visited Elworth Grange care home, where she enjoyed a tour round the 66-bed residential and residential dementia care home, including the social spaces and gardens.
Residents and staff said they enjoyed meeting Mrs Russell and spoke to her about what life was like at Elworth Grange.
Rachel McIntosh, Elworth Grange home manager, said: “We were delighted to welcome MP Sarah Russell to our home. Everyone had a great time, chatting and discussing key issues they care about and what actions can be taken to overcome them.”
Mrs Russell said: “It was great to meet staff and residents of this care home, which displays a real commitment to engaging with the local community as well as providing a good experience for residents.”
The MP agreed to chair one of the care home’s gardening committee meetings this year with residents.
