ANDREWS (Philip Jocelin, BA, PHF). Former headmaster of Middlewich High School (1979–2000). Peacefully on Wednesday, 17th January 2024 at Westbourne Care Home, Holmes Chapel, and of Lovell Court, Holmes Chapel, Philip, aged 80. The dearly loved husband of Patricia; much-loved father of Robert; father-in-law to Sarah, and granddad to Rhys and Cerys. The funeral service is to take place on Tuesday, 6th February at St Luke’s Church, Holmes Chapel, at noon, prior to committal at the Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis. BARNES (John Francis). Peacefully passed away on Monday, 22nd January 2024 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, John, aged 77, of Buglawton, Congleton. BROOKS (Susan, “Sue”, nee Hood). At rest on 22nd January 2024 in the loving care of staff at The Old Vicarage Nursing Home, Sue, of Biddulph, aged 59. Devoted wife to Rob; a loving mum to Daniel and Lindsey; a much-loved daughter to Graham and the late Patricia; a special sister to Rachael; and a treasured auntie, daughter-in-law and friend to many who will be truly missed. The dearly beloved wife of Chris; treasured daughter of Vic and Geoff; adored sister of Charlotte and Amelia, and much love to “Pixie” from James. JACKSON (Patricia, “Pat”, nee Goodwin). Peacefully on Wednesday, 17th January 2024 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Pat, aged 85, of Biddulph. The beloved and much-loved wife of Norman; loving mum of Ray, Janet, Phil and Gordon; and a dear mother-in-law, treasured granny and great-granny, dearest sister, sister-in-law, aunt and a good neighbour and friend to many. Pat will be sadly missed but affectionately remembered by all her loving family and many friends. A service of celebration will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday, 16th February at 10.30am. The dearly loved and devoted husband of the late Maureen Knowles; loving dad of Helen; dear father-in-law of Anthony and a dear brother and brother-in-law. The cortege is to leave his home on Tuesday, 20th February at 11.40am for a service and cremation at Macclesfield Crematorium at 12.15pm.
