A new year, new art classes for experts and beginners alike

Anne Courtine, international professional artist, and a member of the Pastelliste Societies of France, Canada and Nevada – who has lived in Burslem since 2019 – is launching new art classes in Biddulph and Alsager.

She already gives regular lessons at Alsager (at Two Doors Studio) and Biddulph (town hall and St Lawrence’s Parish Church) and has new classes starting from today (Thursday) in Biddulph and “soon” in Alsager.

Artists from beginners to advanced can join her arts classes to learn to paint techniques: dry pastels, watercolour, acrylics, mixed-media, inks, graphite, etc (not oil).

Art classes are in Biddulph on Mondays and Thursdays, 10am to noon, and Alsager on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The cost is £10 for each session, £100 for 11 sessions or £180 for 20 sessions. If materials are required, there is a £5 charge.

Other sessions other days can be organised, with five students minimum.

She also runs workshops with art groups, and enjoys learning all the artistic techniques. Information and registrations for the courses are on her website, annecourtinepastelliste.fr.
Registration at Two Doors is via twodoorsstudio.co.uk.
