ARCHER (John). John “Dan” Archer passed away peacefully on Sunday, 12th December 2021, at Greengables Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family, aged 80. The cherished husband of Ann; loving father to Jane and Andrew; father-in-law to Diane; much-loved granddad of Jessica, George and Rebecca; respected brother to Joan, Terrance and Barry, and a dear brother-in-law to Lyn and Phil. John will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, love of football, cricket and pigeons and his strength of character, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral service takes place at St Mary’s Church, Astbury, on Friday, 7th January, at noon. This will be followed by interment in the cemetery. CHADDOCK (Pauline). Peacefully at home on Saturday, 18th December 2021, Pauline, aged 57, of Biddulph. The devoted and loving wife of Paul; cherished mum of Marie; treasured sister of Margaret, Keith and Roy, and a dearest sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and a dear friend to many.
