ARCHER (June, nee Sproston). Peacefully at rest on 8th December 2023, while in the loving care of her family at Park Lane Nursing Home, June, formerly of Biddulph, aged 89. The dearly beloved wife of the late Frederick; devoted mum to Paul, Robert and Kathryn; a dearest mother-in-law to Yvonne, Alan and the late Margaret; a loving and much-loved nan and great-nan; a dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend who will be truly missed. The funeral service is to take place at Biddulph Methodist Church on Wednesday, 10th January at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Biddulph Cemetery. BILLINGTON (Peter, “Percy”). Peacefully on 12th December 2023 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Peter “Percy”, aged 64, of Congleton. DAVENPORT (Brian Paul). Passed away at home on 19th December 2023, Brian, aged 51, of Sandbach. The much-loved son of Pauline and the late Brian; wonderful husband to Eve, and a loving brother, dad and granddad. FRODSHAM (Hilda). Peacefully on 11th December 2023 at home, Hilda, aged 83, of Holmes Chapel. The dearly loved and devoted wife of Harold William Frodsham; loving mum of Peter and Terry, and a treasured grandmother and great-grandmother. GIBSON (Roy). Roy, aged 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, 18th December 2023 at Congleton War Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family and a friend. The cherished husband of Kathleen; respected brother of Alan, and a much-loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Roy will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, his great knowledge of many subjects and being a friend to many. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral will be held at Key Green Methodist Chapel, Congleton, at 11.30am on Wednesday, 10th January and will be followed by a private family committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. RYAN (Fay). Passed away peacefully at Gainsborough Care Home, Swanage, on 25th December 2023, aged 84; formerly of Biddulph. The devoted wife of Don; much-loved mum of Karen, Robert and the late Michael; a dear mother-in-law to Gus and Victoria, and loving gran to Robert, Max, James, Maja and Henry. Also the dear niece of Nora. Fay will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
