Mobility retailer Ableworld has launched a new television advert, after deciding to branch out to increase brand awareness.

After a full day of filming, weeks of editing, and a whole month of preparation, Ableworld’s advert will be shown across Shropshire on a dozen different channels including Sky, Discovery, Channel Five and Sky Sports.

Head of marketing Ceri Dixon said the business had decided to expand its marketing strategies after researching its target market and finding that its most effective form of advertising was television.

She said: “I have been extremely surprised by how positive the experience of television advertising has been. Of course, there have been nerves and worry, but the exhilaration and eagerness of our team have made the experience captivating.

“We wanted to use the power of television to further the knowledge of Ableworld’s product and services. Ableworld isn’t like many other mobility retailers, we choose to trade ethically, and we feel our advert captures that extremely well.”

Ableworld filmed the advert at its Stafford store.

The director of the advert, Peter Blumer from Bauer Create, said he “fell in love” with the store the moment he saw a picture of it. He had a vision of how he wanted the advert to feel and what shots he wanted to produce an engaging story board.

Ms Dixon added: “We are delighted with the results of our television advert. I feel it really portrays the caring mobility retailer that we are and captures the positive experience of visiting an Ableworld store.”
