BEECH (George). At rest on Tuesday 7th February 2023 at Leighton Hospital, Crewe in the presence of his loving family, after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity. George, aged 93, of Mow Cop. The dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy, loving dad of Christopher, much loved father-in-law of Diane, treasured granddad of Tim & Tara, Kerry & Alistair, and a special great-granddad of Jacob, George, Matthew, Lilly and Isabelle. George will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends. Funeral service and cremation at The Birches Crematorium, Northwich, CW9 7SU on Thursday, 2nd March at 1pm. BELL (Margaret Cameron Barnes). Passed away peacefully on 13th February 2023. Margaret, aged 96, formerly of Budworth Close, Sandbach. CARTWRIGHT (Hilary). Peacefully passed away on 29th December, 2022, at Royal Stoke University Hospital. Hilary was the much-loved wife of the late Harry; father of Peter and Paul; mother-in-law of Pauline and Beata; grandma to Charlotte and Devon, and sister to Marge. The cremation was at Bradwell Cemetery on Monday, 10th February. All donations to UK Sepsis Trust Ltd.

GARRATT (Mary). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 17th February 2023. Mary, aged 80, of Elworth. Beloved wife of Mike, much loved mum to Andy, Clare and Dayve and proud nana to Sam and Martha. Away into the distance, like sky about my feet, difficult to see, where Heaven and bluebells meet. GAUNT (Arthur). Passed away peacefully at Macclesfield District General Hospital on 2nd February 2023. Arthur, aged 90, lived in Congleton, originally from Biddulph, devoted husband of the late Jean, much loved dad of Andrew and Judith, cherished grandad and great-granddad. HIGGINSON (Stella). Passed away peacefully at Astbury Mere Care home on 18th February 2023, aged 91. The much loved wife of the late Frank “Pat”, loving mum of John, Carol and Andrew, cherished and treasured grandma and great-grandma. HUTCHISON (Alexander). Died peacefully at his home in Canada on 19th January, 2023, aged 35. His wife Javia and children Arwyn and Eli, parents Mike and Lesley and sisters Ellie and Rachael were with him through his illness.

Steve, aged 70, of Congleton, loved husband of Barbara, devoted dad of Jo and Kate, cherished granddad of Abee, Jessie and Ellis, treasured great-granddad of Forest and Lilith, dear brother of Nigel and missed brother-in-law of Jane. Alice will be missed greatly by all who knew her. THORLEY (Frederick James “Fred”). It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Fred Thorley, loving husband, father and brother. Fred passed away on Friday, 3rd February at Leighton Hospital. Fred’s humour and warmth will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
